Meeting with cantor J. Malovany
In summer famous cantor Josel Malovany and his wife came to Panevezys Jewish community. Meeting's purpose - get to know grandparents homeland, visit it.
Panevezys Jewish comunity's members told guests about their ralatives home - Krekanava, introduced Jews history and together visited it.
Guests from USA
On 28 of July to Panevezys came guests from USA. In the city they visited Remembrance square, Panevezys yeshiva.
Also, they met with Panevezys Jewish community. In their premises guests took a look at museum of Panevezys Jews life, archive, communicated with Gennady Kofman and other PJC members.
